After Newtown, states slow to embrace new gun laws
Sat Mar 2, 2013
I read that in the USA cops shoot and kill 375 to 500 people a year and typically there are 350 people shot with assault rifles, makes one think. We are in more danger from cops.
Wealthy spoil their kids, even if they don't intend to, survey says

Worked my way thru college, started my own company.
Court: Flipping the bird at a cop doesn't warrant arrest
Fri Jan 4, 2013
Hope the guy gets a fortune from the Nazi cops who think they can do what ever they want in the name of the LAW. Love to be on that jury.
'Mass casualties' after crash at Reno air show
Sat Sep 17, 2011
This is very tragic my condolences go out to the families of those hurt. Am I the only one who noticed that in the picture of the plane in it's crashing dive, I do not see the pilots head. I looked and in other old photos of this aircraft on the internet his helmet is clear in the canopy.
Firefighters face new threat: private 911 service
Sun Apr 17, 2011
Fire fighters are the most publicity seeking and self serving group of public employees I have observed. They want praise every time they do thier job, unlike any other group in public service. They get paid to do a dangerous job, granted, but so do our folks in the military.
Police, fire departments bill accident victims to offset cuts
Sun Sep 5, 2010
All BS aside, the majority of first responders do it for the glory or adrenaline rush or both. Here in rural America they volunteer at the local fire department and even raise the money to support the VFD.
'Flash crash' defies explanation so far
Tue May 11, 2010
I don't think this was a conspiracy by anyone, I think it is a system that no one understands. And a bunch of politicians, business majors and lawyers are not going to figure it out, a group not generally the smart kids when I was in school.
Furor grows over Ariz. law against immigrants
Mon Apr 26, 2010
Illegal is illegal, sounds like 460,000 criminals (in Arizona alone) with no concept of the law. The carnage going on across the border now is a result of this common disregard for the law that seems to be a common Mexican attitude. Boot them all. TJ
Big banks see fairness issue with mortgage aid
Tue Apr 13, 2010
I agree with the bankers, even though I despise the SOBs for their bail out, no one should have their principal reduced.
Documents: Bullied teen sought school's help
Thu Apr 8, 2010
I think the school personnel who did not do anything should be prosecuted as well as the students in question. My kids have both been bullied, I told them to defend them selves and don't worry about the clueless school administrators who merely do nothing until they have been assaulted.
